Oceantime2Have you ever been to the central Oregon Coast? Better yet, have you ever spent time in a cozy dwelling situated for adventure that is cannabis friendly and pet friendly? Yachats, Oregon was named by Budget Travel magazine to be one of the “Ten Coolest Small Towns of the U.S.A.” in 2007.  Arthur Frommer, founder of Frommer’s Travel Guides, listed Yachats among his ten favorite vacation destinations in the world. So, let’s say this place comes pretty highly recommended. You don’t have to tell the residents. They are fewer than 700 in number and don’t mind letting you in on the secret of their beautiful coastal town.

Oceantime is a home turned Bud and Breakfast, welcoming cannabis enthusiasts from all over the world.  “Yachats became a magical place for me, when I was able to watch 2 Female Blue Whales nursing their calves in a deep cove next to the beach. ” says owner Deb Cardy, “What further “Sign” did I need!?! This was going to be Home!”

Whether you are enjoying a breakfast made just for you or doing your own grilling with the charcoal and lighter fluid provided, good eating is bound to be part of your adventure. For a few more bucks Cardy will also prepare other meals for you, home cooked and healthy. It all depends on what fits your vision.  Of course the food is just to prepare you for the adventure the location brings nearly to the front door at OceanTime. Walk 300 yards through the coastal trees to the Pacific Ocean or walk up the hill to access National Forest trails for hiking and biking. The Yachats River and Alsea Rivers are both within just a minute or two. Cape Perpetua and the Amanda Trail stand ready for nature lovers!

Cardy stands ready to advise guests who may arrive with no plans but still seeking some adventure. “This is a perfect spot for relaxing and healing….slowing down, taking a break or breath to unwind from your own personal life issues. It can also be a place you decide to seek some adventure: surfing, fishing, beach-combing, hiking, biking, whale watching, deep sea fishing and whale tours are all available in the area.” OceanTime allows cannabis consumption anywhere on property and asks all guests to simply use discretion while outside.
