Sitting on the Columbia River and part of the Boring Lava Field, the city lies on an extinct volcanic vent called Prune Hill. Being only 20 miles from Portland, many of the citizens frequent Oregon for a shopping and nightlife.

Camas is a great place to visit and explore the river area. Also with it’s convenient location, you can see all of Portland, and still have time to hit Vancouver, Washington too! The town is a great place to get away from the big city way of life and get out and see the world!
