Since November 13, 2015 Trove Cannabis has been doing things just a bit different. After all, lots of people sell retail weed now. Creating an experience, a comfortable place where customers shop, learn and want to return is another thing. That is just the experience they are curating.
“Trove is unique in the way that we do everything a little differently than anyone else,” explains Yin-Ho Lai, company co-owner. “We constructed our building from the ground up because we wanted our shop to be 100% original and to our specs.. we are unique in that we have a very family-oriented atmosphere where our #1 goal is to have fun. Our employees have fun, and our customers have fun.”
Lai and co-owner Stephen Reed want not just the environment to be unique but the service as well.
They believe that the diversity of their staff reflects the many faces and facets of cannabis itself. The employees are “students, graduates, artists, athletes and animal whisperers, to name a few,” says Lai. Their love and passion for cannabis is what binds them to each other and will be the reason you may feel an immediate connection.
The store has received a medical MJ endorsement from the state, however, has “decided to not roll out the program until the State provides a better means to benefit patients.” Patients should still go visit since Trove because they independently offer special perks for medical patients.
