Crystal Mountain is the is the largest ski resort in Washington State with a total of 2,600 acres and over 50 named runs. The resort is approximately a 2 hour drive from Seattle and this mountain offers everything for beginners, intermediate riders, and experts. The base is 4,400′ and the summit is 6,872′. Crystal Mountain is an extremely nice resort, and Over $30 million has been invested in the area over the past decade. Crystal offers high-speed lifts, and they even have gondolas and this is definitely one of Washington’s best Ski Resorts.

1. Mt. Baker Ski Area

Baker Ski Area is located in Northern Washington, and it is about an hour and fifteen minutes away from the beautiful city of Bellingham. The ski area averages the most annual snowfall (641 inches) in the entire world and holds the record for most snowfall in a single season (1,140 inches in the ’98-’99 season).
