Quebec City, QC

With a population of about 540,994, Quebec City is not only the capital of Quebec, but it is also the second largest French speaking city in Canada. The city was first incorporated in 1608, but was founded significantly earlier in 1535. The city is located in the St. Lawrence River Valley where the St. Lawrence and St. Charles Rivers meet.

The city offers over 100 parks and gardens that attract outdoor enthusiasts of all varieties. Hiking, fishing, birdwatching, and boating are all super popular activities in the city. One cool spot in particular to check out is The Battlefields Park, which has over 50 pieces of artillery scattered around the grounds.

Quebec City is loved by many for its outdoor festivals and carnivals. The city has hosted an annual Winter Carnival since 1894, and it often attracts upwards of 1 million attendees. The event features many different activities including a 400 person masquerade ball. This is one of the largest winter events in the world, and is an incredible sight to behold. The city also has a summer music festival that draws huge acts and attendance as well. We love seeing cities embrace popular culture and put on events that inspire greater tourism.

The city is a beautiful place to visit. We love Quebec City, and all it has to offer!

There are no retail medical marijuana shops in Canada, instead they utilize a system where meds are distributed through the mail or by personal delivery. That being said, we haven’t yet started a Quebec City dispensary map & directory, but when recreational shops do start opening, we will definitely create one, so keep your eyes peeled for more once the legalization does occur.

Come check out Quebec City as soon as you possibly can! It is an easy place to lose yourself in, because it is such a cool and beautiful city. If you would like more information on Quebec Marijuana Laws, click here!
