Corvallis Marijuana Information
Home to 55,000 citizens, Oregon State University, and one of the top Hewlett Packard research campuses, Corvallis is a quaint community nestled in the central region of the state. With a handful legal marijuana dispensaries, as of August 2016, the area is serviced well in terms of outdoor activities and cannabis.
This past May in 2016, Oregon’s Hemp and Cannabis Fair rolled through Corvallis. The fair hosted growers, retailers, producers, and consumers all the like. The two-day event was focused on getting people exposed to the scene and also connecting those already in the industry. It was a great showcase of those who are already involved in the industry, and introduced them to the community at large. We hope this kind of event becomes more of a regular thing around Corvallis!
Corvallis is known as Tree City USA, boasting 47 public parks in and around the city. With so many opportunities to get outdoors, we can’t find a single reason why you wouldn’t want to hit a retail shop for an edible, then wander around the lush and beautiful town.
Corvallis is also home to one of the qualifying events for the annual Kinetic Sculpture Race, with the finals in Humboldt County, California. This event is super cool to see the artwork that can be created in limited time!
Besides the 17 NCAA Division 1 sports teams, the parks, and the cannabis clubs there is a weekly farmers market that is highly treasured by the local community for its fresh produce, and locally sourced meats and cheeses.
