Bend Marijuana Information
Men’s Journal ranked Bend as one of the top 10 places to live, in 2015, so obviously this is a great place to visit as well. Home to 20 legal marijuana dispensaries, there is no shortage of the pretty green leaf for the 82,000 citizens. As of 2016 Bend is now home to Oregon’s largest indoor grow operation, GXO industries which holds over 10,000 sq ft of grow space. The community is very outdoors oriented; the largest economic income for the city is tourism.
Deschutes Brewery was also founded here in 1988, and they have grown to be one of the top microbreweries in the country. With such a well-known craft beer producer and the robust number of pot shops, you will be able to get quite a buzz on, if that is your thing.
With Mt Bachelor and the Cascade lakes close by, there is no shortage of winter or summer sports. The majority of the population either skis, snowboards, kayaks, rafts, bikes, hikes, and fishes, so don’t be surprised if the city is early to bed and early to rise. In the winter you can book anything from a dog sled tour to even local snowmobiling tours (we don’t recommend smoking before either of those, for safety).
Bend sits along the Deschutes River and if you are into fly-fishing, you have a perfect opportunity to stretch your legs, climb in that cool water and enjoy that legal cannabis in the seclusion of the wilderness.
