Revere Marijuana Information
Shops In Revere (Map)
With a population just shy of 52,000, the city of Revere is the 24th largest in the state of Massachusetts. The city was officially incorporated in 1871, but settlement in the area began in 1630. Located about 5 miles North of downtown Boston, the city took its name from the Revolutionary War member Paul Revere who famously alerted the masses that the British were coming.
The city is home to the oldest public beach in the country, Revere Beach. This beach was revitalized in the 1980’s and is a beautiful spot to enjoy a sunny day! If you’re feeling hungry, Kelly’s Roast Beef by the beach has some of the most incredible sandwiches in the entirety of New England. The restaurant claims to have invented the Roast Beef Sandwich, and we don’t bother arguing with them, because they clearly have an intimate knowledge of how to best prepare the delicious meal.
One other cool thing about Revere is that it is the hometown of famous musician Glenn Danzig. Danzig was the founder of groups like the Misfits, Samhain, and Danzig, and is known as a prolific songwriter in the punk/metal/industrial music scenes.
Unfortunately there are currently no medical marijuana dispensaries located in town, but with the recent legalization of marijuana for recreational use in the state of Massachusetts, we hope that it will mean that some recreational shops will open their doors to the public in the area in the near future!
