Medford Marijuana Information
Shops In Medford (Map)
Sitting just over 3 miles northwest of Boston is the city of Medford. With a population of about 56,173, the city is the 20th largest in the state of Massachusetts. The city was officially incorporated in 1892, and is known for being the home to Tufts University.
Medford has a bit of a wild history. The man who invented the rollerskate, James Plimpton, was from Medford. Amelia Earhart briefly lived in town. Michael Bloomberg was the Mayor of New York City for 11 years, and he was also originally from Medford as well. One of the most hilarious and brilliant comedians and human beings, Joe Rogan, is also from town. One of the largest bank and jewel robberies in world history happened in town in 1980, and was actually carried out by a team of crooked law enforcement officers. The crazy stories go on and on. This is definitely a place worth looking into – I feel like you could hear some really insane stories in a seedy bar here.
Oddly enough, Medford also has an interesting history with Christmas songs. Both “Jingle Bells,” and “Over the River and Through the Woods” were written by citizens of the great city. Seems random, but maybe it is a testament to how beautiful the winters are out here.
Unfortunately there are currently no medical marijuana dispensaries located in town, but with the recent legalization of marijuana for recreational use in the state of Massachusetts, we hope that it will mean that some recreational shops will open their doors to the public in the area in the near future!
