I’d like to know what age you can get a medical marijuana card in Colorado.

There is no age limit in Colorado to apply for a medical marijuana card in Colorado. If you are under 18 you must have a caregiver apply for you. The caregiver can also grow and distribute marijuana to the minor patient. If you want to apply for yourself, you would have to be over the age of 18.

In Colorado there are no age limits for getting a medical marijuana card. Anyone 18 or older is allowed to get one on their own, or anyone who is under 18 is still eligible to get one as long as their parents give consent. A signed letter should be enough for a child to get one.

A medical Marijuana card is no longer required in the state of Colorado. As of 2014, Marijuana was legalized for recreational use and dispensaries can legally sell Marijuana to any person over the age of 21. However, you can still apply for and be granted a medical Marijuana card from a doctor. If you have a medical Marijuana card in Colorado, you are not required to pay the additional taxes recreational users must pay. You would also purchase Marijuana from separate stores that don’t sell recreational Marijuana.
