Everybody knows the historical importance of La Junta, Colorado so being around here after smoking a joint, there is a place that must be visited – Bent’s Old Fort National Historic Site. The fort is actually a recreation yet is a very realistic one so it will definitely be worth your time and a few bucks spent. As soon as you get the munchies, the one place you should go is Lucky’s Tacos, a great place to server some authentic mexican cuisine prepared with the freshest ingredients. The staff is very friendly, the serving is fast and those are just a few reason why this place has become a local’s favorite.
One of the best smoke spots in La Junta would have to be the racetrack The racetrack is a nicely manicured plot of land that is free of onlookers and is close enough to town to not be a trek to get to. On weekends cars are usually speeding around the track trying to improve their times, which is always a fun thing to see. Parking is ample, and you can pretty much just put your car wherever you see fit (so long as its not interfering with the track). All in all, the racetrack provides a safe place to relax while smoking some bud.
