I’m looking for some of the best smoke spots in Bend. There are parks all over the place, but I’m looking for the best spots based on privacy, the view, near by restaurants, and whatever else you can think of.

Sparks Lake is an amazing spot to smoke. Not very far from Bend, and just the perfect, most serene place around. Lots of space and just my favorite spot to chill in when I lived in Bend. The lake itself is just beautiful to look at and swim in if you’re down.

Take a stroll up Pilot Butte. It’s unreal knowing that your literally standing on lava, as it’s a volcano. There’s nothing in the world quite like it. Plus there’s tons of spots to plop down on some rocks and enjoy the view. There’s also Lava River Cave if you’re trying to go underground instead of get higher…pun intended. Have fun and be safe!

If you don’t mind going a bit out of your way, try the triangle hills. You can do whatever you want up there. You might even run into someone who may be trying to do the same. Not the most convenient, but it has all the privacy that you want and the view is super nice.

One of my favorite spots to smoke in Bend is Farewell Bend Park. It’s more secluded than the popular Drake Park and at least as beautiful. The Deschutes River runs through the park and it’s easy to find less populated trails that lead into the woods. I’ve spent many an afternoon smoking and gazing out at the river, completely undetected. Follow the trail southeast from the Boat Trailer parking lot, towards the Snake River Reservoir, and you’ll find just what you’re looking for.

Drake Park is really cool to smoke because of the scenery, the waterfall trail is very popular. Is relatively safe to smoke in the parks downtown because the cops patrol the trails regularly. Also, you can smoke while walking in another part of the city because cops don’t patrol the sidewalks of other neighborhoods as much as they do in downtown.

There are many outdoor spot you can enjoy in Bend, but I think Riverbend park is actually a good place for smoking. You can have privacy and scenery, a great place to get high in nature. However, don’t plan to get high in public and cause a scene because local police will give you ticket for it.

Tumalo Falls in the Deschutes National Forest is a great place to spend the day. I think it’s around $5 bucks to park up there but everything else is free to explore. The falls themselves are 97 feet high and set in a beautifully forested rocky outcropping, which itself overlooks a magnificent valley. It’s a great place to burn down and chill… just make sure to step off the beaten path for a little extra privacy if you go during the busier times of year.

Deschutes National Forest is by far the most beautiful place. You won’t have to go far to find an ideal spot. The river is gorgeous and the wildlife is teaming. I could spend weeks there camping if I had the chance. I have seen others toking it up in the area too, and it seems like it is a friendly area. I’d say to bring your fishing pole as well!
