While the social climate in California is super friendly towards cannabis, it is not legal to consume on public property. That being said, tons of people choose not to follow this law and you will often see people smoking joints in the street. Police don’t typically waste their time writing public consumption tickets, but they certainly would be within their rights to if they were having a bad day or something. We recommend using discretion and being aware of your surroundings if you do choose to light up, but you’ll likely be ok. Vaporizers are nice for this because you could say that it is a e-cig nicotine delivery system, but that’s just what we do! I hope this helped!
