Wheat Ridge, Colorado Marijuana Information

Just 5 miles Northwest of Denver sits Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The town has just over 30,000 residents and is a melting pot of cultures.

The town was only incorporated in 1970, but was founded in the late 1850’s. The area was commonly used as a spot to rest by travellers heading West during the Gold Rush era, and is extremely fertile. Until the 1960’s, this town focused primarily on agricultural pursuits, but now is much more suburban.

The town features a wide variety of things to see, including the Chicano Humanities and Arts Council Gallery where there is a myriad of historical and contemporary art pieces that help define the Chicano culture.

If you are a craft brew hound, you should definitely check out the Brewery Rickoli, a super tiny brewery that boasts having extremely hoppy IPA’s and regular specialty one-off brews that will never see the light of day again!
