Welby is a small town that is located about 10 miles north of Denver. The town has about 16,000 residents. The town was named after General Welby, who was a railroad official. Today, the town serves as a commuter town to Denver as most of its residents work in the city.
Unfortunately there are no retail marijuana shops in town, but it’s so close to Denver that it really isn’t any inconvenience.
There are several Mexican restaurants in Welby, and one that locals truly adore is Ricco’s Burritos, though many fancy Chubbys Mexican Restaurant as well.
There really isn’t much of anything in regards to hotels or motels, so if you’re planning on visiting Welby, be sure to check neighboring towns for lodging.
