Superior, Colorado Marijuana Information

The town of Superior, Colorado is pretty small, with only just shy of 13,000 residents. The town is about 22 miles northeast of Denver, and houses many who work in either Denver or Boulder, which is only about five minutes away.

The town was founded and grew for the sake of coal mining. This isn’t an unusual history for towns in the state, and like many other places, mining died here when the Industrial Mine shut down in 1945.

Today the town is mostly suburban, though there’s still plenty of open space and natural preserves to explore. The amount of hiking trails is almost silly considering its proximity to two more bustling towns.

Awesome news! Superior has a couple of retail marijuana shops, so there’s no need to make a lengthy drive to restock.

Also, there really isn’t much in the way of lodging in Superior proper, so be sure to make arrangements to stay in a neighboring town when visiting.
