Sterling, Colorado Marijuana Information
In Sterling
The largest town in Northeastern Colorado, Sterling hosts just over 18,000 residents, and is located about 102 miles due east from Fort Collins. The town is a major shopping area for the Northeast region of the state, and has many people travel to it for its stores every day. Sterling is also home to Northeastern Junior College, a two year institution that teaches many in the area.
One particularly cool place in Sterling is the Overland Trail Museum, which highlights the history of the trail that once led those expanding West through the town in the first place. This museum has tons of old artifacts and pieces of history that help detail the trials and tribulations of those seeking a new life.
If you’re itching to get outside though, the North Sterling State Park is a truly stunning location to do so. There’s great fishing and hiking to be had there, and tons of pristine nature to lose yourself in.
One thing to keep in mind is that stargazing is incredible out this far from city lights, so pack a telescope and plenty of herb with you, as there are no retail marijuana shops in Sterling.
