The 14th largest town in Colorado, Loveland, is located about 45 miles North of Denver, and about 13 miles South of Fort Collins. The town harbors many artists, and features many examples of their work spread out around town. The town also hosts many art related events over the course of the year that are well attended and well loved.
Additionally, in Benson Park Sculpture Garden, one can see around 100 pieces of the nearly 300 sculptures the town features.
Loveland is also migrated towards for its affordable housing market near college towns Fort Collins, Greeley, and Boulder. With all of those young college students around, Loveland is seen as a highly progressive area. This being said, there are no retail marijuana shops in town, so you’ll have to hitch a ride into Fort Collins to refill your stash.
With the town’s proximity to the Front Range, tourism definitely spikes through the summer months, with many taking the opportunity to get out and hike. The spectacular views here keep people coming back regularly.
