In Greenwood Village

About 11 miles south of Denver sits the town of Greenwood Village. The town has about 15,600 residents, and was named after the Greenwood Ranch when the town was founded in the 1860’s by those in search of gold. Farms and orchards became prevalent, and the town’s majestic views of the Front Range are truly stunning. Through the town had search early beginnings, the town wasn’t officially incorporated until 1950.

Today, the town has maintained a lot of the natural lands, and offers over 300 acres of park land, and an additional 100 acres of land that has never been developed. These area are perfect for a peaceful stroll through nature.

For those who crave red meat, Brook’s Steak House never disappoints. The size of some of their cuts of meat is boarder-line insane. If you find yourself in more of a mood for Mexican, though, Las Brisas offers a veritable smorgasbord of Hispanic foods.

Another cool place to check out is the Madden Museum of Art, they constantly have some of the most beautiful works to become entranced by.

Sadly, there are no retail marijuana shops in Greenwood Village, but hey! Denver’s right over there!
