Centennial, Colorado Marijuana Information
One of the newer towns in Colorado, Centennial is a real up-and-comer! Incorporated as recently as 2001, the town was named by a vote held by citizens and was decided due to the fact the vote occurred in the year 2000. The town rests just shy of 16 miles Southeast of Denver, and there are about 100,377 people living there.
The vote for incorporation was interesting because it was approved by 77% of voters, and due to the large population of the area, it became the largest incorporation in U.S. history. The vote was brought about in response to a nearby town annexing unincorporated land so that they could improve their tax base.
Centennial became the first location in the state to have an IKEA store, and many flock there for their ready-to-assemble home needs. While Centennial offers much more shopping, there aren’t any retail marijuana shops in town just yet. This just means you’ll have to make the short journey into Denver for your goods.
Another spot Centennial is particularly proud of is that they home the Denver Bronco’s NFL training facility. The facility is 13.5 acres large and has three full size football fields, 18,000 square-foot indoor conditioning area, 9,000 square-foot weight room, and administrative building. This complex truly is a sight to see.
