Arvada is a growing city located about 11 miles Northwest of Denver. The city currently is the seventh most populated in Colorado with about 111,707 residents. The town was originally founded by former gold miners who sought the land for its fertile grounds and its proximity to successful mining sites. Arvada was officially incorporated in 1904, and has been steadily gaining population numbers since, serving as a commuter town to Denver and Boulder.
