The Shangri-la Inn

Located on a 3 acre sustainable permaculture farm, the Inn at Gaia’s Farm and Gardens is a Permaculture Shangri-la of Northern Colorado, holistic healing center and farmstay B&B, renowned for our healthy, gourmet breakfasts, beautiful organic gardens, and the simple peaceful energy of our farm. Our 1950′s Farmhouse and guest cottage is filled with healing energy and bohemian spirit, comes with a private hot tub and fresh flowers and herbs from the gardens give our cottage a natural soothing ambiance. A stroll on the property reveals organic gardens, a therapeutic petting zoo, mountain views, woodland walk, and a koi pond. At the heart of this place, and our lives, are the beautiful, organic gardens, overflowing with flowers, herbs, vegetables, and an abundance of berries and fruit trees. A healer, artist and gardener since childhood, Kathleen lovingly orchestrates a riot of color and abundance where lilies keep watch over asparagus fronds and cabbages share the same bed with flowers and dill. We offer a perfect balance for those who wish to retreat in a rural mountain setting and yet enjoy easy access to the restaurants and cultural offerings of Fort Collins. We are located along the old Overland Trail along the foothills near Rist and Poudre Canyons. We have a lot of white water rafting companies near and we are so close to Fort Collins (10 minutes) and yet truly a world apart. Consumption Policy: Cannabis Friendly, Very Private and Discreet location. The goal is to make you feel safe and comfortable. People with disabilities and health issues are welcome also for we are handicapped accessible in The Shangri-la Inn and around the gardens.

Breakfast: Our guests rave about their wonderful breakfasts where all the fresh picked goodies from the garden are combined with our own farm fresh free range eggs and other organic ingredients to create a delicious tasty treat every day. Our guests go home dreaming about our breakfasts. We will gladly prepare Vegan and Gluten Free meals for you. You also have the option to cook your own breakfast in your private cottage kitchenette and we supply the farm fresh free range eggs. As a Slow Food Bed and Breakfast, we are deeply committed to serving you the freshest, organically grown food from our farm and we are committed to supporting other local farms and serving food which is local, seasonal, and sustainability grown.
