With a population just shy of 152,000, the town of Sunnyvale is the 39th largest in the state of California. The town was officially incorporated in 1912, and has grown steadily since! The town first began to flourish with the introduction of fruit packing plants around the city. These locations brought more jobs and residents to the city, and helped get the word out that Sunnyvale was a great place to come grow fruits and work in the industry.

Today the town is known as a quiet and clean suburban area that serves as a bedroom community to those who work and recreate in San Francisco or other places in the Bay Area. The town has 24 parks, and over 9,000 businesses, so chances are that they have something that you will absolutely love!

Sunnyvale is also home to two incredible golf courses that are fun, yet challenging. There’s not much better than a sunny day on the links, and Sunnyvale offers a ton of those days every year! The Sunken Gardens Golf Course also has a phenomenal restaurant on site that many locals adore! The Gold Rush Eatery also has a fully stocked bar, so if you worked up a hunger and a thirst on the course, the facility can handle any craving you may have!

Sadly enough, there are currently no marijuana shops open in Sunnyvale, but since the Adult Use of Marijuana Act Proposition 64 was passed on the 8th of November, some recreational shops may open in town in the future.
