Simi Valley Marijuana Information
Dispensaries In Simi Valley
With around 126,000 residents, the town of Simi Valley is the 46th largest city in the state of California. The town sits about 30 miles away from downtown LA, and is mostly residential and provides those who work in the metropolitan area a place to lay their head at night.
Today many flock to Simi Valley for their natural offerings and to visit the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum where the former President was laid to rest. The library and museum are big hits if you want to learn more about the history of the president’s term, and the state of the country while he was at the helm.
With mountains surrounding the valley in many directions, it is pretty clear to see that the town sits either directly on, or near a tectonic fault-line. This area is used to feeling small to mid-sized earthquakes, and also is fairly used to feeling the effects of wildfires – especially in these last few years ridden with draught. With that being said, if you find yourself puffing in Simi Valley in the hot dry summertime, do take care to make sure that joint is fully extinguished before discarding! Only you and Smokey the bear can prevent forest fires, so don’t start one by being an irresponsible hippie!
Another aspect of Simi Valley that brings in a ton of tourists is their incredible trail system and golf courses. With miles of trails perfect for getting out and exploring, hikers, bikers, and horseback riders love heading off into the mountains for a day of pure adventure. You never know what you will come across on these trails, and these are some great spots to relax and unwind with a little herb. If a walk in the woods doesn’t quite do it for ya, you can be challenged physically and mentally but the beautiful and difficult golf courses in town.
If you live your life a little more dangerously, there’s the infamous Skatelab facility located in town. This enormous indoor skatepark features tons of ramps, rails, and other obstacles to fling yourself off of, or whatever else boarders and bladers do nowadays. The facility is open 7 days a week, is fully air conditioned, and also has classes and lessons given by some of the best and brightest in the area. If that isn’t enough to get your heart racing, the facility also is home to the first ever skateboarding museum, which houses over 5,000 artifacts collected from the region’s rich history within the sport.
Unfortunately there are currently no retail marijuana shops of any kind within Simi Valley city limits. The Adult Use of Marijuana Act was passed on the 8th of November, and the recreational use of cannabis has been legalized for all adults in the state who are over the age of 21. Hopefully recreational marijuana shops in town in the near future! Check back here to see what comes next for the beautiful town of Simi Valley!
