Dispensaries In Pasadena
With just over 142,000 residents, the city of Pasadena is the 40th largest town in the state of California. The town is located about 10 miles Northeast of downtown LA and was officially incorporated in 1886. Today the town is most well known for being the official location of the yearly Rose Bowl college football event, and also the Tournament of Roses parade. The game and parade take place on New Year’s Day every year, and is the oldest of the college football Bowl games.
Those who crave trips out into the great outdoors will love Pasadena’s convenient location near the Angeles National Forest. The forest area is home to tons of hiking/biking trails, campsites, and much more! If you are an adrenaline junkie, you can whip through the treetops via zip lines, or downhill ski at blazing speeds. There’s also plenty of campsites in the forest if sleeping under the stars is your cup of tea!
The town is also home to the ArtCenter College for Design. This facility is highly prestigious and even once featured teachers by the names of Ansel Adams and Paul Frank. Designers from around the globe vye for places within this school, and many who have studied here have gone on to design products for Apple and other things that are used every day.
If hitting the links is on your list of things to do while in Pasadena, have no fear, they’re not in short supply! Our favorite course is actually two courses! The Brookside Golf Course has two full 18-hole courses and they sit alongside the Rose Bowl Stadium. This is cool because you can play a round this near to where all the magic happens on the gridiron every year!
There currently is one medical marijuana dispensary in Pasadena, and because the Adult Use of Marijuana Act was passed on the 8th of November, you can expect that some recreational pot shops may open up in the near future. Keep your eyes peeled!
