With a population just shy of 141,000, the town of Orange is the 41st largest in the state of California. Located just 3 miles North of Santa Ana, the town was officially incorporated in 1888, and grew alongside the citrus fruit market. The fertile soils and convenient location brought many to town through the years. Today people flock to Orange for many reasons! There’s great shopping to be had, as well as plenty of uniquely Californian opportunities to get outdoors.
One of the coolest parts of Orange is the Vans Skatepark! This park has everything from vert walls to spines and gaps. With sections for skaters of all levels, this 46,000 sq-ft facility is one of the largest in the world! The park also has a shop for purchasing clothes and gear as well. This is a great place to either brush up on your skills, or show off! If you love skating, this is a must see location!
People love all the different shops in the open-air Outlets at Orange facility. From boutique clothing spaces to a jam and preserves shop, this mall has it all! With this many retail locations to choose from, it can be easy to be swept into a shopping frenzy!
Unfortunately there are currently no retail marijuana shops in Orange, but since the Adult Use of Marijuana Act was passed on November 8th, the town may see some recreational shops open in the near future.
