Dispensaries In Irvine

Irvine, California is a more recent development for the state. The town was officially incorporated in 1971, and has rapidly grown since. The town was built by the Irvine Company, whose specialty was real estate development. The Irvine family lived in town, and planned the development of the city.

The town is home to many colleges and universities, including the University of California Irvine. In 1959, The Irvine Company sold the state 1,000 acres of land for $1 so that the University campus could be built, and the state additionally bought 500 more acres from elsewhere. While UCI may be the largest higher education facility in town, there are over 14 other institutions in Irvine as well, so there’s a lot of knowledge being soaked up in this town!

Irvine is also home to a ton of different corporations’ headquarters. Companies like In-N-Out Burger, Taco Bell, LA Fitness, and Boot Barn all have their corporate headquarters in town, and that isn’t even the tip of the iceberg in regards to how many more there are!

Locals love the Irvine Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings. They are located in the Mariners Church parking lot from 8a-12p. The quality of produce at the market is out of this world!

There currently aren’t any marijuana dispensaries in Irvine, which we find interesting with how many schools are in town. Hopefully since the Adult Use of Marijuana Act was passed in November, some recreational marijuana shops will open soon!
