Dispensaries In Concord
The town of Concord has a population of just under 129,000, making it the 47th largest city in the state. Sitting about 30 miles East of Downtown San Francisco, the town was founded in 1869, but wasn’t officially incorporated until 1905. The town is loved for its open-air plazas where they host many events like concerts and farmer’s markets.
La Purunga Plaza is a perfect example of one of these open-air facilities. This location features many restaurants and clothing shops, which draws tons of people to the area every day.
Another aspect of town that brings in a ton of tourists is the Concord Pavilion, formerly known as the Sleep Train Amphitheater. The venue holds roughly 12,500 people, and hosts top name acts in the entertainment industry on a nightly basis. Concord is known as a musical town, especially in the genre of smooth jazz. Famous musician Dave Brubeck was born in Concord, and they have a park named in his honor. With this legend being born and raised here, we think you should “take 5” and go check out Concord!
Unfortunately there are currently no retail marijuana shops operating within city limits in Concord. The Adult Use of Marijuana Act (Proposition 64) was passed in the November 8th election, and the recreational use of marijuana is now legal for adults over the age of 21. As a result of this, you can expect that if shops don’t soon open specifically within Concord limits, that there will likely be some shops in the area that won’t be too far away.
