Vancouver Marijuana Information

Vancouver is the most populous city in the province of British Columbia with 603,502 residents in the city and about 2.4 million in the greater metropolitan area. The city is one of the most diverse areas in all of North America. Vancouver was officially incorporated in 1886, and is located near the West Coast of Canada, just north of the American Border.

The city grew rapidly after developing a hugely successful seaport where importing and exporting goods became big business. Port Metro Vancouver is the 3rd largest port in the Americas, which is pretty cool.

One interesting thing about Vancouver to highlight is that it is widely agreed that the city is one of the best places in the world to live. Between the weather, lack of crime, diversity, economy, culture, and several other factors, Vancouver is just one of the tops.

There have also been so many different films and television shows filmed in Vancouver that it has been given the affable nickname, Hollywood North. I’m sure you’ve seen Vancouver on screen more times than you would even guess!

One difficult aspect of Vancouver is the cost of living. Prices in and around the city are significantly higher than in the rest of the province on goods and housing. Many people spend a good portion of their yearly earnings on pricey rents and mortgages. So many people want to live near the city though that it has created a highly competitive market where people watch rental listings like hawks.

There are no retail medical marijuana shops in Canada, instead they utilize a system where meds are distributed through the mail or by personal delivery.
