Alaska’s Capitol Inn
Cannabis Policy:

About:
Our restored gold rush era home offers the finest in overnight accommodations and a real bed & breakfast experience during your stay. Rooms are tastefully decorated with fine linens on king size beds, walls adorned with period wallpapers, collectible Alaskan art, and period furniture throughout. Our breakfasts are raved about by the guests, and covered by all the guide books, as a true dining experience. You can enjoy refreshments before dinner, or our bottomless cookie jar with a cup of tea in the afternoon, when guests often share the day’s events or photos.
Breakfast:
The aroma of fresh roasted coffee announces breakfast, a multi course affair, served family style in the formal dining room. Guests are welcome to come grab a cup of tea, or coffee, the morning paper, and watch the sunrise over the front porch. Bathrobes and slippers are provided in all the rooms.
Amenities:
Four floors of this restored mansion offer a variety of rooms to suit everyone’s preference. Each one is impeccably furnished in traditional Arts & Crafts décor with a flourish of Alaskana. All rooms are quite unique and offer different amenities; whirlpool tubs and fireplaces, king and queen beds, and some with private sitting areas and extra room for families. Of course all of our rooms have private baths and we offer milled soaps, shampoo, lotions, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards and a variety of other essential bath and room amenities during your stay.
Things to do:
Alaska is called The Great Land for a good reason, so no matter how much time you have in our area, there is a wide variety of activities to choose from, for all levels of fun and outdoor adventure.
