I’d like to know what age you can get a medical marijuana card in Alaska.

There is no specific limit in Alaska as to how old you need to be to get it. Of course, as a minor, you need a parent or a guardian to be your primary caregiver, who can apply for and get the medical marijuana based on your medical condition.

The measure legalized recreational marijuana for people ages 21 and older, allowing adults over this age to possess up to an ounce of marijuana and up to six plants, with only three flowering at one time. It also made the manufacture, sale and possession of marijuana paraphernalia legal at the state level.

    21. Also, you cannot legally purchase medical pot in Alaska. The only legal way to get marijuana is for you or your caregiver to grow it. The caregiver must pass a background check and be over 21. The state will not help you with this, nor provide seeds or starter plants.
