Greeley, Colorado Marijuana Information
Clocking in at right around 100,000 people, Greeley is the 12th largest population in Colorado. The University of Northern Colorado and several other colleges call Greeley home, and sit about 50 miles North of Denver, and 32 miles Southeast of Fort Collins.
The city was officially incorporated in 1886, and was named after Horace Greeley, who was the Editor of the New York Tribune, and popularized the phrase: “Go West, young man.” The townspeople focused primarily on farming at first, but the town also later on had one of the first radio stations to broadcast in the USA.
Greeley features a semi-arid climate, so the weather is typically fairly mild with highs in the summer reaching 90 degrees, and lows in the winter dropping to a mere 40 degrees. The area is highly dry, so it isn’t unusual for temperatures to reach nearly 70 degrees through January and February.
There are a handful of marijuana retail shops in Greeley, so before you hit the Monfort Concert Hall for Broadway musicals, concerts, or a comedian, be sure to go explore!
